Bezpłatny webinar pt.: „Using AI Wisely in STEM Research and Academic Writing”

4 grudnia 2026 roku

10:00-11:00 (GMT+1)

AI tools are rapidly changing the way STEM researchers search, write, analyse and publish – but using them well requires more than simply asking better prompts. This free taster seminar introduces key questions every researcher and PhD candidate needs to consider: how to use AI ethically, how to avoid unreliable or generic outputs, how to assess AI-generated “insights”, and how to keep your own expertise at the centre of the research process.

In this practical and thought-provoking session, participants will get a preview of the full one-day workshop, including how AI can support research writing, journal selection, knowledge building and the transformation of dissertations or theses into publishable articles. We will also look at the risks of “cognitive surrender”, hallucinated answers, predatory publishing, and one-size-fits-all writing advice that fails to reflect the conventions of different STEM disciplines.

By the end of the seminar, you will have a clearer understanding of what AI can – and cannot – do for your research, and how the full workshop can help you develop a more critical, ethical and effective approach to using AI in STEM writing and publication.

This event is aimed at STEM researchers, PhD candidates, early-career academics and anyone preparing research for publication.

Join the free taster seminar to discover how to make AI a useful research partner – without letting it take over your thinking.
