International Scientific Conference „Civilization Diseases – Causes, Treatment, and Prevention”

Ladies and gentlemen,

TYGIEL Foundation for the Promotion of Science and Development is pleased to invite you to participate in the International Scientific Conference „Civilization Diseases – Causes, Treatment, and Prevention”, which will be held on April 28th, 2021. Due to the current epidemiological situation, the Conference will take the form of an online event.

During the Conference, we will discuss diseases strongly related to the rapid development of civilization like changing lifestyles in the population including a reduction in physical activity, unhealthy nutrition, environmental pollution, increasing stress, and isolation. The number of people suffering from civilization diseases will gradually increase, which is why continuous research into new methods of prevention and early detection is so important.

Therefore, we propose the following thematic areas, and we are also open to your suggestions:

• Neoplastic diseases (most frequently breast cancer, uterine cancer, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, gastric cancer and colorectal cancer, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, neoplasms in the head and neck area)

• Ischemic heart disease

• Hypertension

• Diabetes

• Overweight and obesity

• Allergies

• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

• Peptic ulcer disease

• Mental disorders – dementia, anorexia, depression, alcoholism, drug addiction, neurosis, anxiety and neurosis

• Disorders of the metabolism of neuromediators

• Atherosclerosis

The aim of the Conference is the exchange of knowledge, experience and the state of research between the participants of the Conference.The invitation to participate in the event is addressed to people representing various fields of science, such as medicine and health sciences, psychology, psychiatry, and ecology, as well as those dealing with the subject of health and diseases, research workers, PhD students and students, as well as people interested in this subject. We count on your active participation in the event, as well as a joint exchange of experiences and reflections.

Registration for participation lasts until February 11th, 2022.
